Product Update: Use Internet Service While Being Connected to the Air Direct Wireless Tethering System
As we continuously improve the Air Direct Wireless Tethering System to ensure optimal performance for users of the system, we’re excited to announce that we have released a big update to the Air Direct Utility (ADU) for the Air Direct Wireless Tethering System.
Users will now be able to access available internet service while being connected to Air Direct. The Bridge Mode feature expands a photographers wireless tethering workflow by allowing users to not only bring images directly into their tethering software, but also immediately send images via a FTP site, share them with clients, post to social media, stream music and more.
We recommend reading our Tech Tips How to Bridge for Mac and Bridging to PC. You will need to first download the updated Air Direct Utility (ADU) and run the latest firmware update – please start with a fully charged battery and follow the on-screen instructions. Once you have updated your firmware and have installed the latest Air Direct Utility (ADU), you’re ready to connect.
A video walk-through (Mac) is also available for viewing on how to use Bridge Mode through the ADU in order to access the internet while connected to Air Direct.
