Sunset to Sunrise Timelapse of Scottish Lighthouse Made Possible with Case Relay
We talked with Scottish photographer Alasdair MacLeod about a recent timelapse he shot at the Mull of Galloway lighthouse, Scotland’s most southwesterly point. Setting up his camera, Alasdair captured this gorgeous timelapse shot featuring the Milky Way and lighthouse using his Nikon camera along with the Tether Tools Case Relay Camera Power System.
“The sunset to sunrise shot was over 12 hours, 5 hours longer than my Nikon battery would last on its own,” explains Alasdair, “so without Tether Tools Case Relay, this timelapse would not have been possible.”
This Case Relay Camera Power System has everything you need to power your camera continually with an external battery pack or wall power, providing peace of mind knowing you have an uninterrupted power source for your camera. So when your shooting astrophotography, night photography, timelapses, video, or travel photography, you won’t need to worry about running out of power. Alasdair says he’s planning three more sunset to sunrise shoots (weather permitting) with a fourth in the opposite direction, sunrise to sunset, and plans on bringing along his Case Relay Camera Power System again for those timelapse shoots.
