Nine years ago Douglas Sonders attended his first NASCAR race as the tour photographer for 3 Doors Down. Today he’s working with the National Guard on the official 2014 photoshoot for Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his new car.
The photos, which will be used in various public relations and advertising material throughout the year, were shot on a solid white backdrop so that they could be easily cut and composite into a new background. The biggest challenge of the shoot, says Douglas, was the time crunch.
