Barnet Photography is excited to partner up with Samy’s Camera to teach the “Off Camera Flash Workshop” this coming weekend.
The class is this Saturday, October 11, from 10 AM to 2 PM, and will be held for the first time at the studio in Santa Ana.
This 4-hour workshop with Joe & Mirta Barnet is designed to get you up and running with your portable on-camera flash. You will learn how to get the most from your portable flash – hint, this means taking it off your camera’s hotshoe. 🙂
Concepts such as TTL metering, wireless flash, flash exposure compensation, and rear curtain sync will be covered. Bounce lighting strategies and using flash accessories such as small soft boxes, shoot through umbrellas, bounce cards, snoots, and colored gels will be also be discussed. This class with teach you how to use your Speed light like a PRO, and also some great giveaways!
Experience Level:
Beginner to Intermediate: Attendee should be familiar with the basic functions and menus of their camera and speed light.
Requirements:
Please bring you DSLR camera, external flash, pocket wizard (if you don’t have one, you can use one of ours) a notebook, and pen. Make sure your batteries are charged and you have room for photos on your memory card.
