Lightroom 5.3 Update with New Camera Support

On December 11, 2013, Adobe released Lightroom 5.3 on Adobe.com and through the update mechanism in Lightroom 5. In this release Adobe has provided Lightroom with additional camera raw support, lens profile support and addressed bugs that were introduced in previous releases of Lightroom.

Tethered Capture & Camera Support in Lightroom 5.3

The following cameras have now been added to support tethered capture in Lightroom 5.3:

  • Canon EOS Kiss X6i

Lightroom 5.3 Corrected Bugs

In previous versions of Lightroom, users may have noticed a few bugs. New corrections now fix:

  • any issues when upgrading catalogs from previous versions of Lightroom.
  • errors when publishing photos to Flickr through the Publish Service.
  • metadata of exported files.
