From June 9th to the 14th we will tour the UK and stop at 3-4 different cities for full day workshops and some seminars. During this tour I will be accompanied by one of my favorite models Marie Korf who will co teach with me during parts of the workshops and tell you everything about coaching the model (from a models perspective) and much much more. All designs will be made by our top designer Nadine Stephan so this is really a workshop series you don’t want to miss.

The 1080 square foot studio is based in Coppull Mill, just outside Chorley and a short drive away from both the M6 and M61. The intention is simple, to provide a large, friendly studio.  We want the studio to support the local Lancashire community as well as providing a venue for photographers visiting the area.  We want the studio to have a community feel, giving those new to studio work support and help whilst providing the more experienced with a well equipped professional environment.

What can you expect during the workshops?

Oempf, actually that’s way too much to list here. Every workshop will be unique.

However we will always start off with a Q&A in which you can ask whatever you want.

During my workshops I focus on the group but also on the location and the styling, meaning there is no real “program” just like in real life you have to make it work and mediocre shots don’t cut it in todays market, so you have to be flexible and know your gear and light to create something that will blow away your customers, this means that on every location we will discuss different topics, solve different problems and get different results, one one location we might use a lot of smoke, gels and extreme stylings, while on another location (during the same day even) we could go for natural light with just a little bit of reflection. Everything goes, and knowing Nadine and me, we will go through A LOT of different options during those days.

In our workshops there are no secrets, no talk like “this is really hard” but clear and simple….. we will tell you everything we know.

Some topics that are guaranteed :

Metering and manipulating light, mixing available and strobes, going from OK to WOW with simple tools, multiple light setups, coaching tips, retouching tips, building a brand, finding the unique look, day to night photography, using simple tools, styling tips from 0-100 euro, finding the right pose for the scene, composition, field of view in the field and way way more…..

You will be inspired and filled up with ideas after visiting one (or more) of these workshops.

So don’t miss them and register as early as possible, because the groups are limited to 15 people max.
